Iveco customers are being given additional reassurance on the road with the new IVECO Assist program, a sophisticated level of roadside support throughout New Zealand.
Effective April 1st every new vehicle sold by IVECO is covered by IVECO Assist, a roadside assistance program, for the duration of the warranty period. By dialing 0800 367 483, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, a customer can speak to a member of the IVECO Assist team. The IVECO Assist team member will initially discuss the matter with the customer to determine what next steps should be and should escalation be required, a trained technician will be dispatched to attend to the vehicle or a recovery unit will be utilised to deliver the vehicle to the nearest IVECO Dealership. Benefits of the program include minor roadside repairs, battery & parts replacement, key replacement & locksmith services, towing, emergency message relay, emergency transportation and coordination.
This service has also been extended to all previously sold IVECO vehicles that are still under their warranty program. When asked about the new IVECO Assist program, General Manager Ian Walker states “this was an easy win for our customers and therefore a no-brainer. IVECO stands behind its products and by providing a roadside assistance program free of charge it allows us to support our customers and provides our customers well-deserved peace of mind.” He continues “in addition to the direct benefit to the customer and driver this program also provides IVECO immediate and invaluable information about the vehicles on the road which allow us to act quicker, more methodically and with systemic action where required.”
IVECO Assist will be supported by the extensive IVECO Parts and Service network with 18 Parts & Service locations nationwide. Vehicles outside of their warranty period can still use IVECO Assist, however may incur a cost for some of the features.
