Iveco focuses on developing customer service and strengthening its dealer network in New Zealand

Iveco New Zealand gives new momentum to its customer service and shares its plans with its network. To achieve its aim of delivering top-notch support, the brand is also prospecting for new dealers to strengthen its network and be closer to the customers. June 2016

Iveco kick-started its customer service development program by bringing together its dealers from both islands for a Dealer Convention in Auckland.  During the event, Iveco’s team shared its plans and discussed how, in partnership with the dealers, they would work towards enhancing the customers’ experience of the brand and providing best-in-class all-round support for their vehicles and businesses; Iveco has 18 parts and service dealers across New Zealand.  According to General Manager Ian Walker, “We provide some of the best parts and service coverage in the country; this conference was a great opportunity to bring the entire team together with a clear focus on renewing and strengthening our relationship with our dealers and our customers. As sales continue to grow, the professionalism, readiness and momentum of our parts and service network will continue to play a pivotal role in the competitive advantage that an Iveco purchase brings to our customers,” “Iveco New Zealand”, continued Ian, “is putting a great emphasis on cultivating  a strong relationship with its network. We have a great group of dealers that are clearly dedicated to the Iveco franchise and to our customers.”

Dealers at the conference heard more about the programs that Iveco New Zealand has recently launched and will continue to introduce over the next few months. They include Iveco Assist, a roadside assistance program, for the duration of the warranty period, available by dialing 0800 367 483, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and Elements Program Maintenance which includes the ServiceBond package, that  provides routine service on the vehicle, and the EasyRoad package that provides service, repair and maintenance – for complete customers’ peace of mind.

Additionally, the team had the opportunity to share best practices and discuss how to further strengthen its service to customers. New Zealand Parts Manager Malcolm Smith said, “This is a collaborative team and together we are happy to provide great customer service and improved turnaround for our customers while at the same time ensuring that our dealers are also excited to do business with us.”
In addition to the parts and service dealers, Iveco has also recently announced the appointment of 2 sales dealers.  When asked at the conference about the strategy of dealer development in New Zealand going forward, the Manager for Australia New Zealand Dealer Development, Matteo Gambaro, stated, “As we continue to grow the Iveco brand in New Zealand, there is a matching growing need to increase coverage of the territory, to be closer to our customers. In fact, we have just opened up the opportunity for interested parties to access information on how to become a potential dealer”
Iveco New Zealand has just begun soliciting interest for dealer partnerships and those that are interested in becoming potential Iveco dealers, whether parts/service or sales, are encouraged to visit for more information and to make contact.
